Slow down music without changing the pitch
Learning a fast solo by ear is easier at three quarters speed, but only if it stays in the key it was written in. The Practice Looper keeps speed and pitch separate, so slowing down never makes a song sound out of tune.

A quarter speed to double speed
The speed slider runs from 0.25x to 2x, with normal speed in the middle. Drag it down to work something out note by note, then bring it back up step by step until you can play along at full tempo.

Combine it with a loop
- Set A and B around the passage you are learning.
- Slow it down until you can follow every note.
- Raise the speed a little each time it comes round.
- Give a track its own default speed so it opens the way you left it.
Sound quality
Settings has a Speed Control Quality option for how slowed down audio is processed.
Questions
Does slowing down change the key?

How slow can it go?
Down to a quarter of normal speed, and up to twice normal speed.
